The fun begins Saturday July 21, 2012 at 8:00 a.m.

Join us in participating in the Roundtown Classic 5 Mile Run and 5K Run / Walk sponsored by the Circleville High School (CHS) Alumni Association. The race is planned as an inaugural event to explore the new Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park. A fun run is planned for children 10 and under.

 

The park is located at the corner of SR 188 and Pontius Road. Map quest at 1222 Pontius Road Circleville, Ohio 43113

 

Proceeds from the race will support the activities of the Circleville City Schools including four annual $1000 scholarships sponsored by the CHS Alumni Association and the Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Commemorative Fund. Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place overall runners and to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place divisional winners. All participants will recieve a T-shirt and a goodie bag. Also there will be a Finisher Medal given to each runner / walker who finishes the race.

Persons wishing to support the CHS Alumni Association race activities can make a donation by copying the attached General Doantion and dropping it off at the Pickaway County Welcome Center at 325 West Main Street Circleville, Ohio 43113 or at the Welcome Tent on the day of the race.

Awards

The top 3 overall male and female finishers and the top 3 male and female finishers in the following categories will receive race day awards.

5K Event - 10 and under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over

5 Mile Event - 13 and under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over

 

Entry Fees

Both the 5 Mile and the 5K entry fees are:

$20 December 1st , 2011 through March 31st, 2012

$25 April 1, 2012 through July 20, 2012

$30 on the day of the race, July 21, 2012 

All participants will receive an event shirt, finisher medal and post race refreshments
